The Noisy Table is an interactive sound art installation which transforms the ping pong table into an interface for musical and artistic expression.

Versions of Noisytable have been shown in galleries across the UK and played by over a hundred thousand people.

The table has a variety of modes creating different sounds, visuals and conversations of play.

The Noisy Table has developed from an analogue version created by Will Nash in '11 and now runs as a digital version programmed by Martin Gritton in pure data in '12. The Noisytable 2.0 now features responsive graphics which run in processing since '14. Software created for the table has been designed to allow for audio and visual contributions. Many people have contributed time and energy creating and refining various elements of the latest version.
